July 29 - Clue

Early morning start for my 9am class. Again, I got on campus early and went to the building and class number, but it was dark! No one was there! So I ran over to the media office, but it was too early for it to be open, so I located the registrar and apparently there had been an update to the room (due to the number enrolled) and so I ran over to find it. I wasn’t too late, but I felt a little silly walking in when he was already talking. This lecture is for my Writing for Video Non-Fiction and is 3 hours every Friday. Today’s class went over the outline and projects and then we watched segments of documentaries which he then incorporated into his lecture. I like his style. This class is likely my hardest, but hopefully the most rewarding. He gave us a writing assignment to get us warmed up, but he forgot the handout with the details, so I have to locate it online soon. (I want my internet in my room dammmmmmit!) A girl who lives on my floor is also in that class, so we chatted about it and will likely use each other as sounding boards.

After class, I came back and read some for my other classes and took a nap. In the evening it was team trivia night. The short story is that our team of 6 won. So we were rewarded with 3 bottles of wine and 3 6-packs of VB (Victoria Bitter – beer). There was an after-party at the rec room, and I spent about 30 minutes there and I was done. Early morning tomorrow.
