July 21 - Crash

I spent the early part of my morning enrolling for my courses. I am taking Media Project Development from 11-12 on Tuesdays, Research of Media Audiences from 3-5pm on Tuesdays, as well. Both of those classes have tutorials which I am aiming to get both on Wednesday. Then, I have one more class on Fridays from 9-12 on Writing for Video – Non-fiction. I met that professor since he had to sign off on my courses and he seemed cool. I look forward to that class the most, though it may be my hardest or most demanding. After the two-hour ordeal, I went back to the grad house to basically do nothing. I had planned to meet Rike in St. Kilda again, but she wasn’t planning to do anything til nearly 8 and I didn’t know how to get home or what I would do if I got stranded in St. Kilda for the night, so I decided not to go. In the meantime, Aidan called to ask if I wanted to come have dinner with him, his housemate Travis, and his mother. I said sure. The boys came and picked me up and they cooked us a roast with all the veggies and corn and green beans. We had a couple bottles of red wine and it was a lovely time. I dig the fact that the boys cooked, so Aidan’s mom and I just chilled out and watched tv and talked and helped when we could – but we were mostly told to get out of their way! It was pretty late after dinner and Aidan and I watched the end of a movie and a segment of Oz before he set up a bed for me and I crashed.
